Recovery Support Professional II

The Recovery Support Professional II will have the primary responsibility of supporting clients in their residential treatment in a therapeutic capacity. This includes facilitating psychoeducational groups, documenting of meetings and progress on recovery goals, and coordinating basic needs.
Full time / Non-Exempt
Pay Range begins at $24.00
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree and alcohol/drug certification preferred.
Previous experience with recovering persons preferred.
Previous experience with an electronic health record preferred.
Ability to communicate in Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred.
Must have organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk, using the phone, and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times. Valid Driver’s license required with ability to transport others using company vehicles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Facilitates psycho-educational groups in the program.
Maintains appropriate clinical records and reports according to established timelines.
Assists in the development of recovery plans and connect to needed resources including entitlements and other supports necessary for recovery including Community Supports.
Identifies clients who are experiencing barriers to accessing treatment and addresses said needs through facilitating securement of entitlements and resources.
Participates in regularly scheduled staff meetings regarding client treatment and meets weekly with the Clinical Supervisor or Supervisor.
Collects urine samples for drug testing as requested by Supervisor and Clinician.
Provides transportation to clients for appointments as needed.
Maintain the cleanliness of the program
Provides services in other residential programs as necessary
Any additional responsibilities assigned by Supervisor.
