Overview
Brown and Caldwell (BC) is seeking an experienced collaborative delivery professional to join the national Owner's Advisor team within the Integrated Project Delivery group. This client-facing role offers autonomy to oversee and lead collaborative delivery projects for diverse clients nationwide.

Remote work is allowed. The position requires travel, averaging 20-30% of the time, potentially up to 50%.
Job Description
As an Owner's Advisor, you will assist clients in the full development and delivery of collaborative delivery projects, including project definition, delivery partner procurement, preconstruction implementation, and design and construction delivery for design-build, progressive design-build, CMGC, CMAR, and P3 projects. You will support projects across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
Provide assessments and guidance regarding client/owner organizational readiness for collaborative delivery.
Advise on merits of various project delivery methods and support procurement best practices.
Prepare and present best practices for collaborative delivery (design-build, CMGC, CMAR) to clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to plan, develop, and execute procurement documents for design-build and CMAR projects.
Work with clients to develop documentation and coordinate with procurement and legal teams during procurement, preconstruction, and construction phases.
Support development of procurement documents and coordinate technical specifications, reports, and design and construction submittal reviews.
Develop and customize RFQ and RFP documents for procurement activities using collaborative delivery methods.
Guide development of selection criteria, SOQ/proposal scoring criteria, and approach.
Assist clients in reviewing designs and construction plans during design and preconstruction phases of design-build and CMAR projects.
Validate design‑builder and CMGC/CMAR construction estimates and support guaranteed price negotiations.
Oversee design‑builder contract compliance and services during construction.
Communicate effectively and coordinate with multi‑discipline project teams, including client staff, technical resources, public entities, and regulatory agencies.
Support communication of best practices via professional organizations, conferences, and internal marketing.
Assist in proposal responses to secure new work.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 15 years of progressively increasing responsibility with experience in design-build and CMAR procurement and delivery.
Experience planning, strategy, and understanding of delivery methods.
Experience in collaborative project delivery in municipal and/or private sector.
Bachelor's degree.
Strong project management and negotiation skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven presentation ability.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
DBIA professional certification.
Experience in water and wastewater sector collaborative delivery.
Minimum five years in an Owner Advisor capacity for collaborative delivery projects.
Experience in all phases of collaborative delivery project development, contracting, and implementation.
Project management experience – staff and deliverables.
Salary & Benefits
Salary range: $160,000 - $230,000. The starting pay range varies by primary work location and may change.
