Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility in Kissimmee, FL 34741. This is a 3-month assignment (possibility of extension or conversion) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization.

$20-23/hr (on W-2, based on experience)

Schedule:

Mon to Fri, 8 AM – 5 PM (40 hrs/week)

Job Responsibilities

Room patients per established policies and procedures; prepare patients for provider examinations.

Accurately and promptly document patient care information in the medical record.

Coordinate patient care activities as directed by physicians and in accordance with company standards and policies.

Maintain strict patient confidentiality and provide courteous, respectful patient interactions at all times.

Prepare, stock, clean, and organize exam and treatment rooms; sterilize instruments per protocol.

Follow standard infection control and safety precautions.

Perform telephone and in-person intake screening limited to information gathering without clinical judgment.

Track, report, and support data collection for HEDIS quality measures.

Process patient referral authorization requests.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school/GED or equivalent.

Current Medical Assistant Certification/Registration.

Current BLS Certification.
