Overview
Job Title: Carpenter
Location: Lubbock Independent School District - 77043004
Employment Type: Full-time
Pay Range: $20.00 per hour - $22.00 per hour
Shifts: Varying shifts, days/hours (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process.
What You’ll Do
As a Carpenter at Sodexo, you are a problem solver and safety promoter. You will rely on your expert knowledge and technical skills to identify repair and replacement needs.
Responsibilities
Perform carpentry duties to construct and maintain building woodwork such as bins, counters, shelves, benches, stairs, light gauge steel for walls/partitions, doors, and windows. Interpret drawings/diagrams or verbal instructions from the lead position.
Repair high-grade articles of furniture such as cabinets, chairs, store fixtures, and office equipment.
Attend work and arrive on time for scheduled shifts with satisfactory regularity.
Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and able to foster a healthy and safe working environment for all.
1 year of related work experience.
Completed apprenticeship prior to assuming Carpenter responsibilities preferred.
Possess a valid driver’s license (additional requirements as applicable).
