As a Management Analyst 2 within the Division of Financial Policy and Operations, you will perform critical fiscal oversight and administrative functions. Your primary responsibility involves reviewing requests for the abatement and modification of individual assessments, making formal determinations guided by Pennsylvania state regulations. In this capacity, you will serve as the Secretary of Human Services' designee when reviewing liabilities imposed on residents of state-owned mental health hospitals and intellectual disability centers. Your role extends to providing technical support, including researching Medicare discrepancies and assisting facility staff with Medicare and Medical Assistance enrollment. You will maintain operational standards by updating the Facility Reimbursement Operations Manual and providing clear procedural direction to field offices. Furthermore, you will represent the department during Bureau of Hearings and Appeals proceedings and conduct site reviews to analyze the effectiveness of work processes. To support executive decision-making, you will also develop and disseminate detailed reports for various levels of departmental leadership.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days per week dependent on training progress. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Management Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of experience in technical management analysis work, and a bachelor's degree; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
