
Measurement Tech I, II or III

Overview
Qualified individual involved in oversight of measurement systems. Responsibilities include varying levels of involvement in calibration of tanks, tank cars, and equipment; tank gauging; gas and liquid measurement; meter proving; temperature and pressure correction for volumetric measurements; and control charting, including basic concepts and applications of statistics. Responsible for providing operability and maintainability input and expertise for the Instruments and Controls discipline.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and calibrate measurement equipment
Install and maintain radio equipment and ensure communication uplink
Participate in and understand orifice, ultrasonic, turbine, and Coriolis measurement
Apply AGA Measurement Standards
Work with Fisher ROC and ABB configurations
Support radio communications and hydrocarbon sampling for analysis
Maintain commitment to safety culture and environmental standards
Set process controls in both the field and processing plants
Maintain, calibrate, test, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment
Install, test, troubleshoot, and run diagnostic tests on RTU equipment
Test, calibrate, and troubleshoot transmitters on communication equipment
Install and test flow transmitters in the field
Test and check moisture content, gravity, and CO2 of gas
Qualifications
Level I
Must be able to demonstrate the aptitude to perform and/or participate in the listed measurement and controls responsibilities
Previous experience in a closely related position and/or industry experience
Experience with Fisher ROCs, ABB gas measurement equipment, and WinCCU software preferred
No college degree required
Level II
Must be able to demonstrate the aptitude to perform and/or participate in the listed measurement and controls responsibilities
Previous experience in a closely related position and/or industry experience
Experience with Fisher ROCs, ABB gas measurement equipment, and WinCCU software preferred
College degree preferred but not required; comparable experience is acceptable
Level III
Must be able to demonstrate the aptitude to perform and/or participate in the listed measurement and controls responsibilities
Previous experience in a closely related position and/or industry experience
Experience with Fisher ROCs, ABB gas measurement equipment, and WinCCU software preferred
College degree required; comparable experience is acceptable
Additional Details

Agency vehicle: ¾-ton truck
Agency to supply small hand tools and electrical tools
XTO to provide 4 gas and specialty tools
