Trillium is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician in Columbus, OH! This Direct-Hire opportunity involves inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing fire protection systems across commercial, industrial, and multifamily properties. The ideal candidate will ensure all systems meet NFPA standards, respond to emergency service calls, and maintain accurate service records while delivering exceptional customer service.
The Fire Sprinkler Service Technician will receive a company vehicle, phone, computer, and a company‑issued credit card to support all field responsibilities. All tools required for the role are supplied, and the company covers any additional licensing costs for Sprinklers, Underground, Fire Pump, or Backflow certifications. This is a stable, long‑term opportunity with a non‑union employer offering competitive compensation.
Responsibilities

Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance on fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with NFPA and local codes
Repair or replace sprinkler heads, valves, supports, and related hardware to maintain proper system performance
Inspect wet, dry, preaction, deluge, and standpipe systems and document deficiencies and required corrective actions
Conduct hydrostatic pressure tests, backflow testing, hydrant flow testing, and fire pump inspection and testing
Install, test, and maintain flow switches and tamper switches and verify proper integration with fire alarm systems
Perform commissioning and acceptance testing for new or modified systems and complete detailed service reports
Diagnose system issues and perform emergency repairs to quickly and safely restore operation
Schedule is 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with overtime as needed for emergency service calls. Pay rate is $30–$35 per hour depending on experience.
Qualifications

2+ years of hands‑on experience inspecting fire sprinkler systems, including backflows and fire pumps
Strong working knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire protection requirements
Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of sprinkler system components
