BANQUET ROOM SETUP
The Embassy Suites in Rockford is looking for fun and outgoing people to join our Banquet team as part time Banquet Room Setup persons.

As a Banquet Room Setup Team Member, you will complete a variety of tasks which will include:
Review and understand Banquet Event Orders or Event Plan to ensure banquet rooms are set as per the customer request.
Timely set-up and break down of all meeting and banquet rooms.
Prepare tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert table/carts and cordial carts.
Remove china, glassware, silverware, etc. from tables at the conclusion of the meal period.
Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
Refresh rooms during lunch, replenish water glasses, water pitchers, and straighten chairs and place settings.
Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas of the meeting room.
The position is ideal for someone with the following experience and qualities:
One to two years of experience in a similar role in an upscale hotel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good personality and positive interpersonal skills.
Dependability and regular attendance.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
