This position supports the ongoing review, improvement, and reliability of the Unemployment Compensation Management System. The work helps ensure accurate tax processes and strong communication with program staff. As a Program Analyst 2, you will perform the following duties:
- System Analysis: Review system functions and identify areas that require updates or solutions
- Testing Support: Verify that corrections, enhancements, and upgrades work as planned through user acceptance testing
- Documentation Updating: Maintain task guides, forms, and correspondence specifications after system changes
- Issue Review: Research reported system problems and prepare detailed documentation for fixes
- Training Support: Create materials and assist staff training efforts related to updated system functions

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. May vary based on Operational Needs
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Program Analyst 1; or
- Two years of analytical experience, one of which includes professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

- This position will have access to Federal Tax Information (FTI) and is subject to the provisions of IRS Publication 1075 (Pub 1075) which requires you to pass an enhanced background check prior to beginning employment.
