Overview
Job Title: General Assembler. The General Assembler role is key to organizing and assembling products for distribution, ensuring quality control, efficient inventory management, and on-time delivery. It supports productivity, cross-department collaboration, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Assemble products in accordance with specifications and quality standards

Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records of stock levels

Collaborate with team members to optimize assembly processes and improve efficiency

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during assembly operations

Pack HVAC products securely to prevent damage during transit

Label, stock, and organize items accurately for easy access and restocking

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Ensure parts and tools are stored properly to avoid delays or safety issues

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma/Equivalent or 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment in lieu of education

Able to work 8-12-hour shifts standing

Available to work any shift and/or overtime as needed

Skills
The required skills for this position include attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication. Problem-solving abilities will be utilized to identify inefficiencies in the assembly process and implement improvements. Experience with quality control processes is preferred.

Work Environment
The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee may be required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. This position requires computer use. Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Compensation & Benefits
RectorSeal uses a market-based salary process. Compensation is within the salary range based on experience and market position. Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the CSWI Board of Directors.
