Position Summary
You will be welding mild and stainless-steel sheet metal from 16 ga to 7 ga thick and structural steel tubing with a .25 wall thickness. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience and must be able to be qualified per AWS D1.3 within 120 days. You will need to be self-motivated and operate with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Weld mild and stainless-steel sheet metal and structural steel components to spec.
Read shop packets and fabricate to standards.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of welding experience.
Ability to be qualified per AWS D1.3 within 120 days.
Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Other Skills And Qualifications
Self-starter
Ability to read our shop packets and fabricate to our standards.
Physical Demands
The position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, twisting, and use of hands to manipulate equipment.
Work Environment
The typical work environment is loud.
Compensation
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
