What You Will Do

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer and dealership vehicles in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and dealership standards.

Inspect vehicles, identify mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns, and determine appropriate repair recommendations.

Complete repair orders accurately, clearly, and in a timely manner.

Perform warranty, customer-pay, and internal repair work as assigned.

Conduct multi-point inspections and document findings thoroughly to support service recommendations.

Maintain productivity and efficiency while producing high-quality work.

Use diagnostic equipment, special tools, service manuals, and technical resources effectively.

Road test vehicles as needed to confirm concerns and verify repairs.

Communicate with shop foremen, service advisors, and management regarding vehicle status, parts needs, and repair updates.

Follow all safety procedures, hazardous material handling requirements, and dealership policies.

Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.

Properly care for dealership tools, equipment, and customer vehicles.

Stay current on manufacturer training, technical bulletins, and evolving repair procedures.

Support team performance by working collaboratively and contributing to an efficient shop environment.

What We Are Looking For (Qualifications)

Previous experience as an automotive technician in a dealership or high-volume repair environment.

Porsche certified strongly preferred.

Strong diagnostic and repair skills across a broad range of vehicle systems.

Ability to work efficiently in a flat rate pay structure while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Working knowledge of electrical, engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, and drivability systems.

Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical repair information.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right the first time.

Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize repairs, and maintain consistent productivity.

Professional communication and teamwork skills.

A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

Pay

$88,000 - $235,900 per year is the expected total annual earnings after factoring in all forms of compensation including hourly pay, bonuses, overtime, benefits (vacation and sick), etc. The hourly rate for this position is $33.80/hr. Flag rates are used for purposes of earning bonuses and range from $40 to $62 per flag hour based on experience. Bonuses range from $18,100 to $125,500 per year based on performance.

The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job and industry, education, etc.
