Job Description
Avery Dennison is looking for a mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join our production team. As a "Technical Pilot" of our equipment, you will take ownership of advanced labeling technology to ensure we meet high-quality production goals. Your Day-to-Day
Precision Operation: Efficiently operate label machines to meet daily production deadlines and quality specifications.
Technical Troubleshooting: Monitor gauges and controls, identifying the root cause of malfunctions to minimize waste.
Digital Accuracy: Use ERP systems to log time and materials, maintaining strict inventory (FIFO) and QC records.
Safety First: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and strictly follow all PPE and safety protocols.
Collaboration: Coordinate with the Production Supervisor and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: 1–2 years of related machine operation or mechanical training.
Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to measure close tolerances.
Physical: Ability to stand for the full shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and color vision for quality checks.

Shift: 1st Shift, Thursday-Monday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Overtime as needed).
Pay Range: $17.79 - $23.72 / hour (Based on experience).
The hourly rate for this position is $17.79 - $23.72 / hour.
