Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pediatric Nurse located in the Greater New Orleans Region. The Pediatric Nurse will be responsible for providing direct care to infants, children, and adolescents. Daily tasks include assessing patient health, administering medications and treatments, monitoring growth and development, coordinating care plans with physicians and families, educating families about their child’s condition and care, and responding to urgent medical situations. The role involves working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for young patients.
Qualifications
Expertise in Pediatric Nursing, Pediatrics, and general Nursing care
Experience with Critical Care Nursing and managing acute medical situations
Solid foundation in Medicine and ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Current registered nurse (RN) licensure and certification in pediatric nursing (preferred)
CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment
