Position Overview
AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 52‑week assignment in Danbury, Connecticut, beginning on 05/01/2026. The position is a travel assignment with 40 hours per week, 8‑hour daytime shifts.
Job Description & Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of the rehabilitation manager or supervisor, the Physical Therapist will perform therapy examinations, develop treatment plans, and establish treatment goals with patient input for acute care patients.
Qualifications
Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Connecticut (PT‑CT)
New graduate accepted; experience in acute care desirable
Certification in BLS
Will work rotating holidays and weekends
One reference from professional work history required
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate of an approved physical therapy program or accredited university
New grad experience in Connecticut preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Pay rate: $1,970.00–$2,030.00 per week (approx. $41.00–$76.16/hour)
$15,000 sign‑on bonus available if requirements are met
