Job Summary
Our client is seeking a
Clinical Facility Navigator
to serve as a key point of contact for patients throughout their care journey. This role blends clinical support, patient coordination, and administrative responsibilities to ensure a seamless and positive patient experience.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment while collaborating closely with providers and care teams.
Key Responsibilities
Guide patients through the full care process, from intake to follow-up, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience
Coordinate appointments, referrals, and communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff
Assist with clinical workflows, including rooming patients, taking vitals, and documenting patient information
Ensure accurate entry of patient demographics, insurance, and medical data into the EMR system
Support providers with administrative and clinical tasks to improve efficiency and patient flow
Educate patients on treatment plans, next steps, and facility processes
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all safety and privacy standards
Help manage patient volume, scheduling changes, and day‑to‑day clinic operations
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience preferred
2+ years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting (orthopedics, specialty care, or high‑volume clinics preferred)
Strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care workflows, and clinical environments
Experience with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks or similar preferred)
Knowledge of insurance processes, scheduling, and patient coordination
Skills & Attributes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong patient‑first mindset
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast‑paced environment
Team‑oriented while also able to work independentlyProficient in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay
$25.50 – $27.00 per hour , based on experience
