Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – $180K–$195K | Cedarhurst, NY (Queens + NYC Travel)
We are seeking an experienced
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with cardiology experience
to join a well-established, physician-led cardiovascular group serving patients across New York City.
This is an excellent opportunity for a provider looking for
high compensation, clinical variety, and flexibility , with the ability to work across multiple outpatient locations while maintaining a collaborative, team-based environment.
Position Highlights
Full-time, part-time, or per diem options available
Flexible scheduling (8–12 hour shifts; some weekends)
Travel to outpatient locations across NYC (primarily Queens; one site per day)
Strong support structure with a physician-led team

About the Role
You will provide cardiovascular care in outpatient clinic settings, working closely with physicians and clinical staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The role offers a mix of clinical responsibilities and procedural exposure.
Key Responsibilities
Perform patient evaluations, physical exams, and cardiovascular assessments
Conduct and assist with stress testing, including cardiac PET-CT
Interpret EKGs and perform IV placement
Educate patients on cardiovascular health and risk factor management
Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to improve care delivery
Ensure a consistent, high-quality patient experience across locations
Qualifications
Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New York
Minimum 4+ years of cardiovascular clinical experience
Strong skills in EKG interpretation, IV placement, and outpatient care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel between sites (reliable transportation required)
Ideal Candidate
Experienced in cardiology and comfortable in an outpatient setting
Values both clinical excellence and patient experience
Adaptable and able to work across multiple locations
