Overview
Leading county medical examiner's office seeks a board-certified or board-eligible forensic pathologist to expand its collaborative team at a state-of-the-art facility. The position offers up to \$250K student loan forgiveness, a generous relocation package, a 3‑week rotating schedule, and excellent benefits.
Responsibilities
Perform autopsies with an average completion of noon; balance call, autopsy, and paperwork within a 3‑week rotating schedule.
Support training of new investigators while learning from experienced forensic pathologists.
Provide quality care supporting families throughout the forensic case process.
Practice with a varied case mix.
Qualifications
Board-certified or board‑eligible forensic pathologist.
Experience working in a forensic pathology or medical examiner’s environment (preferred).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Commitment to maintain manageable case volumes while providing timely reporting.
