
Head Volleyball Coach

Must have background experience as a participant or coach in Volleyball.
Must be able to teach and demonstrate the fundamentals of Volleyball.
Must know state and national rules and be well-versed in Volleyball.
Must be available for all practices and scheduled games.
Must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and continue to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field.
Must complete mandatory Tillamook School District online classes (Bloodborne Pathogens, Child Safety, etc.).
Must be able to pass a criminal/fingerprint background check ($70 fee).
Must have and maintain a valid First Aid/CPR certification.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Organize and supervise all aspects of a sports program including practice scheduling, keeping statistics and managing game film, budget management, equipment maintenance and purchasing, communications, etc.
Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for individual and team success.
Pursue professional growth opportunities through coaching clinics, observations, consultation, etc.
Serve as a proper role model for adolescent athletes instructing them in good sportsmanship, self-discipline, self-confidence, and pride.
Ensure high-quality and effective communication with all stakeholders, fostering a positive image within the school and outside communities.
SALARY
5,340 – 6,128 (DOE)
