Do you enjoy working outdoors and performing specialized duties to support the preservation of Pennsylvania's fishing resources? If you are an individual who can work both independently and as part of a team to support hatchery operations, this could be the job for you!
As a Fishing and Boating Facilities Maintainer, you will assist the Maintenance Supervisor with work at the Centre Region Office and four of State Fish Hatcheries, to include Bellefonte, Benner Spring, Pleasant Gap, and Tylersville. Tasks include preventative maintenance of fish life support systems, influent and effluent treatment facilities, and general building and grounds maintenance.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Seasonal full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- This position does not receive medical benefits. Paid time off accrues after working 750 regular (non-overtime) hours in each calendar year.
- There may be occasional travel, overnights, weekend, evening, holiday, or overtime work.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience operating commercial or industrial-use wheeled or tracked motor vehicles used in groundskeeping, outdoor construction work, agriculture, mining, or forestry work; or
- Two years of semi-skilled work experience in commercial building or plant maintenance and repair work; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of an active motor vehicle license.
- This position requires the incumbent to obtain within the probationary period a Class B commercial driver's license (CDL).
Additional Requirements:
- You must be willing and able to work in adverse weather conditions.
- You must be able to be called in to work for emergency situations.
- You must be willing to work some weekends.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
