Hourly base pay: $18 per hour, with a $2 shift differential for weekend and overnight shifts.

Work Schedule: Part‑time, Monday to Friday, 12:45 pm – 9 pm.

Benefits: Accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and eligibility for the 401(k) retirement plan. Eligibility depends on job classification, length of employment, and hours worked. Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible.

Summary
The Visitor Management Concierge welcomes and greets patients, visitors, and vendors at all hospital entrances, providing efficient, courteous service while ensuring a safe and secure environment in collaboration with Baylor Scott & White Public Safety.

Essential Functions

Arrive and check‑in all visitors, vendors, and patients, issuing visible badges for the duration of their stay.

Accurately enter visitor information into the hospital database while maintaining patient privacy in compliance with HIPAA and PHI standards.

Monitor screening equipment and follow the corresponding workflows.

Promptly report any suspicious activity to Public Safety for further evaluation and response.

Assist patients and guests with inquiries, directions, and initial questions regarding the facility or services.

% of Time

Maintain vigilance, professionalism, and customer service while adhering to safety protocols – 25%

Regulate patient and visitor access control in accordance with Towne Health and Baylor Scott & White policies – 25%

Ensure compliance with Visitor Management procedures and protocols – 25%

Monitor the condition of the physical area and report any issues – 15%

Other duties as assigned – 10%

Qualifications
Education

High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.

Licensure, Certification, etc.

Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Must obtain required immunizations and medical tests as directed by Baylor Scott & White.

Work Experience

Related customer service experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of customer service principles and processes.

Ability to read and write standard English.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks under stressful conditions.

Ability to de‑escalate situations and remain calm.

Ability to work independently and perform basic typing and computer skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with diverse populations.

Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

Required to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned.

Must be able to work in inclement weather and various weather extremes.

Physical Requirements
Regularly required to talk or hear, sit or stand for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Working Environment

Majority of work performed in a climate‑controlled environment, with occasional exposure to inclement weather.

Travel
Travel of up to 0% may be required.
