As a Government Student Intern, you will have the opportunity to acquire significant paraprofessional experience in various fields, including accounting, fine arts, humanities, journalism, public administration, and social sciences. This internship is designed to provide you with hands-on exposure to the inner workings of government operations, allowing you to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings. You will engage in meaningful projects that enhance your understanding of the specific discipline you choose, while also developing essential skills such as critical thinking, communication, and teamwork. Internship opportunities associated with this posting will be for Engineering District 2 which consists of McKean, Potter, Elk, Cameron, Clinton, Clearfield, Centre, Mifflin, and Juniata counties.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time internship that will run from May 2026 through August 2026
- Work hours will vary based on position
- Travel may be required

QUALIFICATIONS
Internship Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled or intending to enroll full-time or part-time in a two-year degree, bachelor's degree, or advanced degree program.
- Must be a Pennsylvania resident or currently enrolled at a Pennsylvania college or university.
- In good academic standing (as defined by a GPA of 2.0 or higher)
- Must be at least 18 years of age

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
