The
Career and College Club Facilitator
is accountable for assisting with promoting, implementing, and facilitating the National Council for Community and Education Partnerships (NCCEP) Career and College curriculum, including community outreach and program development. Overall, the
Career and College Club Facilitator
contributes to CHS’s strategic objective of reimagining what HOME means by creating spaces where every child and family is supported and has access to the opportunities they need to pursue their dreams.

Responsibilities
1. Coordinate club meetings, support career and education planning, ensure program compliance, and engage with families and community partners.
Facilitate weekly group meetings according to the NCCEP Career and College Curriculum.
Implementand Facilitate the NCCEP Career and College clubs using the evidence-based NCCEP Career and College curriculum.
Provide supportive services through weekly group meetings.
Coordinate implementation of Career and College Clubs components (Financial, Career, & Community Engagement Services, and host Family nights) and adherence to the Palm Beach County Youth Services contract.
Assist clients with establishing career goals, describing educational and training opportunities, and creating appropriate plans.
May transport or arrange transportation for clients.
Assist in promoting the program to community stakeholders (i.e. School district, parents, CHS Partners, businesses).
Attend and participate in staff meetings, program-related trainings, community meetings, and activities.
2. Contribute to a positive, engaging work environment.
Develop a strong knowledge base and stay current on job-related issues and trends.
Participate actively in departmental meetings, training and education, as well as the quality process.
Comply with CHS’s code of conduct, policies, procedures and other obligations.
Assist with training other team members and providing back up when necessary.
Pick up projects on the fly; perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
Demonstrate the CHS Common Bond values in the performance of all job duties.
Job Qualifications
Education, Licenses & Certifications
High school diploma or GED, required.
Bachelor’s in Social work, Human Services or related field from an accredited university, strongly preferred.
Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Florida Driver’s License within 30 days from hire with daily access to a reliable and insured vehicle, required.
Experience
Two years of experience working with children and families, required.
Knowledge/Awareness of
Community resources and networks to enhance client experiences and results.
Community Solutions - Mentoring general principles, practices and performance standards.
General confidentiality requirements and ethical standards in handling sensitive client-related and other data and information.
