Piano instructor needed in Great Falls, VA
Taylor Robinson Music, LLC, Great Falls, VA, United States
Overview
Job pay: $20 - $30 an hour
Job Categories: Recreational Arts Instructors (Education & Instruction)
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Job Locations: Great Falls, VA
Job Description
Do you bring out the star in your students?
Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors who share the philosophy, "Learn to Play From the Heart." We strive to make music lessons accessible and affordable because music education is essential to making the world a better, happier place. We are especially looking for piano instructors.
We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio in the Great Falls, VA area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP. Lessons can occur in the students’ homes, in your own home or studio/rehearsal space, or via webcam. While webcam lessons are available, they make up only a small percentage of our student base. Most students prefer in-person lessons, so local instructors who can host students and/or travel to students in the Great Falls, VA area are in demand.
You would be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour depending on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate. You have the freedom to set your own schedule and your own curriculum/lesson plans. We take care of all advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing to help you focus on teaching the music.
If you are great with kids, love teaching, communicate well with our office, and are organized and punctual for lessons, Taylor Robinson Music might be the place for you. Formal music training is not mandatory, but one of the following is required: a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.
If you have one of the above and want to learn more, please apply using the link below:
