Responsibilities
Welcome Ambassadors (Bell Attendant) is a liaison and a guest advocate from the moment the guest arrives until the time they depart. The Welcome Ambassadors will provide walking tours and golf cart tours for our guests throughout the Resort. They will also guide them to their individual room assignments following the check‑in process, and be an advocate for communication of hotel services and promotions. Individuals in this role help in all aspects of the guest arrival and departure experience including but not limited to luggage assistance, luggage delivery, valet parking and property tours. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience. You'll be the face of Miraval Austin as a member of our Front Office team.
Position starting rate: $18.50 an hour.
Greet arriving guests upon arrival and direct them to check‑in.
Have an understanding of Spa offerings, Programming Experiences and activities available at Miraval.
Inform Supervisor immediately of any issues a guest is having during their stay.
Provide walking tours and golf cart tours to all areas property throughout the day.
Assist other associates as needed.
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment.
Requirements
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Previous Hospitality experience preferred but not required
Valid Driver's License due to frequently driving hotel and/or guest vehicles
Ability to lift, push, pull moderate weight up to 75 lbs
