Northeast Family Services is seeking an Autism Specialist Professional / Behavior Therapist to join our growing New Hampshire team.
About the Role
We offer a fee-for-service position with schedule flexibility, allowing you to make your own schedule. This part‑time role can be performed on your own time.
Responsibilities
The Autism Specialist Professional will implement clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior and provide ABA-based instruction to promote the development of new skills, under the direction of a supervising BCBA. The role includes monitoring client behavior, collecting data on behavior and skill acquisition, reporting data back to the supervising BCBA, and collaborating with the BCBA, client families, and the telehealth modality to support meaningful change in client behavior.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED
At least two years of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities
At least 18 years of age
Pass a criminal background check
Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle access
Availability to work after school and evening hours
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
Experience implementing behavioral interventions preferred
Effective written and verbal communication skills
A compassionate approach to care

High-quality supervision of fieldwork experience for candidates seeking the BCBA or BCaBA credentials, with a two-year contract offered after successful completion of fieldwork.
