Avera Health - - Responsibilities: Registers and schedules patients in a timely and accurate manner following established protocols; Answers phones, taking multiple calls from patients, physicians, nurses, technologists, and family members throughout the day; Coordinates communication with patient, employees, physicians and external financial agencies; Performs all necessary procedures to establish insurance coverage, and limitations, in a timely and accurate manner; Makes outgoing calls to patients, referring physician offices, outside clinics and hospitals for various reasons
