Master Electrician
Location: Miami, Florida, US
Position Overview: Yunex is seeking a Master Electrician to join our project team in Miami, Florida and to be part of a team upgrading the existing traffic infrastructure of almost 3000 intersections to the latest controller and central traffic control technology.
Responsibilities: The responsibilities include installing and upgrading traffic signals and ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) equipment and the supervision and managing of crews. In addition, the work can consist of related maintenance repair, and ongoing operation works.
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalency, International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Traffic Signal II Certification or higher, FDOT approved Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) certification. May be required to get bucket truck operator certification. Master Electrician License (State of Florida or Reciprocating State), Proficiency with basic computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. Must understand the importance of meeting budgets, schedules, etc. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to move supplies and equipment of up to 75 lbs. Willingness and ability to work at heights typically associated with installing, repairing, and maintaining traffic signals and streetlights. Must pass a DOT (Department of Transportation) physical exam and drug test. Knowledge of Miami Dade County Traffic Signal and Specs Standards; Basic knowledge of NEC standards.
