Warehouse Coordinator

Responsibilities:
Moving material within the distribution center and from the loading platform by carrying, pushing, rolling, or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other material handling equipment.
Receiving incoming inventory and supply items, logging into the company warehouse system, and stocking inventory in the proper location.
Reading work orders, shipping orders, or following verbal instructions.
Filling customer invoices, checking part numbers, cleaning and packing inventory items.
Inspecting inventory for defects, scratches, or other damage; notifying the Warehouse Manager of problems.
Following all company safety and accident procedures while on company premises or operating company vehicles or equipment.
Tracking all inventory in the appropriate system.
Organizing and cleaning warehouse space and company equipment as needed.
Reporting any customer problems or concerns immediately.
Coaching fellow associates on warehouse operational practices and procedures, equipment operation, and safety procedures when needed.
Enforcing policies and procedures to ensure efficient, effective, and safe warehouse operations.
Evaluating current processes and procedures, and recommending changes to warehouse management.
Contributing ideas on ways to reduce warehouse cost per unit and increase productivity.
Maintaining working knowledge of the warehouse data system and performing various tasks within the system.
Delivering supplies and equipment in a timely fashion while observing all Regulated DOT and OSHA standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
Knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to work.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Frequently required to walk or stand long hours and must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift to 50 pounds.
Forklift operating experience (Forklift Certification is a plus).
Able to operate personal computers and software programs, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
Must have a clean driving record and be able to clear for your DOT Certification.
