We seek an
Environmental Training SME
who will thrive in a challenging, rewarding, process-oriented environment. As the Environmental Training SME, you will lead the modernization and management of the Marine Corps environmental and facilities training programs. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of professional developmentfrom conducting needs assessments and building career roadmaps to managing the digital infrastructure that tracks personnel readiness. Your goal is to ensure all staff are equipped with the necessary credentials and knowledge to meet federal and military environmental standards.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Develop, review, and update core management documents, including comprehensive training strategies and manuals for Government approval.
Career Mapping:
Conduct needs assessments and design career roadmaps to define professional growth paths for environmental and facilities personnel.
Requirement Inventory:
Maintain a detailed inventory of required professional credentials, identifying vetted providers and associated costs.
Catalog Governance:
Review and update course catalogs across Marine Corps platforms, specifically MarineNet and SharePoint, ensuring all data is current and accessible.
Tracking & Analytics:
Develop and implement custom tools for scheduling, tracking, and reporting on mandatory training requirements to ensure command-wide compliance.
Communications:
Design and execute outreach strategies and program materials to increase engagement and awareness of environmental training initiatives.
Program Delivery:
Develop and deliver specialized training programs and related educational materials.
Meeting Management:
Provide end-to-end support for quarterly environmental meetings, including drafting agendas, capturing minutes, and managing venue logistics.
Reporting:
Compile and deliver post-event materials and training reports for Government review and final approval.
Required Qualifications:
Security Clearance:
US Citizenship required
U.S. Clearance at the minimum level of Secret
Education and Experience:
Environmental Expertise:
Deep understanding of environmental compliance, facilities management, or professional credentialing within a federal/DoW context.
LMS Proficiency:
Experience managing digital course catalogs and databases, with specific preference for MarineNet and SharePoint.
Instructional Design:
Proven ability to create training strategies, needs assessments, and professional development roadmaps.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Organizational Logistics:
Strong administrative skills for coordinating large-scale meetings and managing complex scheduling tools.
Communications : Ability to draft clear, professional outreach materials and technical manuals.
