Job Title
Utility Division Worker
Hiring Range: $18.01-$19.11 hourly
Chanhassen's Utility Division is responsible for maintaining all equipment, infrastructure, and vehicles for servicing the water and sewer needs of the city. Job duties could include site or equipment maintenance, sanitary sewer cleaning, manhole maintenance, storm water maintenance, or landscaping or mowing around hydrants and other city facilities. Positions may have the opportunity to assist with locating water utility assets. The City of Chanhassen will provide $100 uniform allowance to use towards the purchase of safety footwear.
Required Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a valid Minnesota driver's license.
Must be able to perform general labor including frequently lifting and/or moving up to 75 lbs. and occasionally lifting and/or moving more than 100 lbs.
Work may routinely require the employee to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
