Cleaning and Restoration Technician

Assist in retaining customers by fulfilling the company's obligations through the timely and effective delivery of restoration services.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED).
Mathematical Skills: Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.
Computer Skills: Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.
Clean Driving Record: No DUI's and comfortable driving a Ram Promaster.
1 year of floor cleaning experience preferred, and/or some form of specialty cleaning (i.e. Air Duct Cleaning, Tile and Grout Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, etc.)
Highly Desired Certificates from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC): Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT)* preferred but not required, Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT)
Opportunities to obtain other certifications: Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT), Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD), Mold Remediation Specialist (MRS), Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician (FSRT)
Must be able to lift 70 pounds unassisted
Responsibilities:
Effectively perform Carpet & Floor Cleaning and Restoration services the company offers.
Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
Communicate effectively with customers.
Perform basic equipment and vehicle maintenance.
Inspect completed work.
Complete the technician's daily log.
Complete Work Orders.
Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
Maintain inventory of related supplies.
Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.
