Building Maintenance Technician II
We are looking for someone who is motivated to maintain the interior and exterior infrastructure of Solitude Mountain Resort.
Position Summary:

This position is responsible for maintaining all buildings and utilities, including alterations and installations involving electrical, plumbing, masonry, and general maintenance tasks that arise daily. Key Responsibilities:
Pool and Hot Tub Maintenance: Perform chemical testing and adjustments, maintain water levels, clean filters, calibrate feed systems, conduct acid washing, complete equipment repairs, and refill chemicals
Building Maintenance (Facilities, Lodging, and Private Homes under Contract): Perform repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general upkeep
Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair faults in machinery, pumps, motors, lighting, and 3-phase electrical panels
Preventative Maintenance: Conduct scheduled inspections of infrastructure and report deficiencies to the Maintenance Manager
Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to OSHA and company safety standards, including proper PPE usage and chemical handling
Documentation: Accurately record daily maintenance activities, repair costs, and inventory adjustments
Specific Requirements:
Ability to inspect and adjust pools and hot tubs in compliance with Health Department requirements
Experience monitoring boilers and air movers and performing necessary repairs
Ability to complete work orders for resort buildings
Strong skills in inspecting buildings and performing general maintenance and repairs
Experience repairing restaurant equipment, including refrigeration systems
Ability to inspect, maintain, and repair exterior building features such as roofing, gutters, painting, and landscaping
Willingness to complete special projects as requested by Solitude Management
Ability to train Level I technicians and assist Level III technicians
Flexibility to assist other departments as needed
Education and Training:
Valid Driver's License
35 years of maintenance experience
Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, etc.)
CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification
