Responsibilities:
Assist the Emergency Services Manager in leading/managing and coordinating the day-to-day activities of emergency crews
Provide on-site job leadership and direction by determining requirements (material & labor) and delegating work according to priorities.
Makes final decisions in the absence of the Emergency Services Manager
Assists with communication to all stakeholderspolicyholders, adjusters, agents, estimators, etc.
Ensure ES crews are prepared for their workday with required materials, equipment, and paperwork before leaving the warehouse at the beginning of the day
Assist in communicating and implementing all new procedures, best practices, policies, etc.
Communicating and enforcing company policies and expectations to the field staff
Monitor/control labor to minimize admin time and/or warehouse time
Ensures projects are carried out according to industry standards and company policies
Point of contact for receiving after-hours phone calls and gathering information before dispatching crews for after-hours calls, in the absence of the Emergency Services Manager
Coordinate efforts onsite for all large projects and VIP clients
Ensure that all clients' needs are being met as related to each loss
Assist in scheduling of labor for all assigned projects and proper assignment of crews based on individual strengths and weaknesses
Assist in preparing the on-call schedule
Daily reviews of field staff updates, job notes, moisture mapping, etc., on all active jobs.
Immediately addressing deficiencies identified in the daily review of active jobs with applicable staff and directing the immediate remedy for the deficiencies.
Assisting other branch offices when necessary
Participating in morning job review meetings
Dispersing crew daily from the warehouse
Ensuring equipment is regularly inspected and scheduling needed repairs
Ensuring Emergency Services-related KPIs on (start dates, estimated revenue, estimated completion, etc.) in tandem with the Emergency Services Manager
Services, Demolition, Content Packing & Cleaning, Jobsite Cleaning, Onsite Supervision & Coordination
Assist in coordinating outside vendors as needed for projects
Keep job records daily and accurately; labor sign-in & time sheets; material & equipment usage; receipts properly coded; vendor invoices; moisture mapping/work logs; required contracts; and other documents.
Ensure all safety gear is up to date
Promoting an attitude of safety on each work site and reviewing safety expectations with all workers on jobsites before the start of work each day.
Leading by example regarding company guidelines and rules regarding safety
Assist/direct field staff on completing any injury
ear miss reporting and documentation within company guidelines.
Assists in the individual training (in office and in the field) and evaluation of employees
Creating orders for any/all materials, chemicals, stock supplies, PPE, and submittal to the Emergency Services Manager for approval
Keep the warehouse organized/clean
Ensure all safety gear is up to date
Keep warehouse dumpster swapped out/ keep track of /ensure the dumpster sheet is being used
Regular vehicle maintenance and inspections.
Qualification:
Minimum of 2 years' experience working in the Restoration Services industry
IICRC Restoration Industry Certifications in WRT and ASD
Ability to lead and motivate others - excellent delegation and communication skills, and the ability to make sound decisions under tight deadlines
Excellent attention to detail with emphasis placed on quality and exceptional customer service
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Proficiency with Xactimate software and the ability to write estimates is a plus, but not required
Familiarity with mitigation software such as MICA or Moisture Mapper
Ability to communicate with third-party administrators through various web portals
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
Ability to lift 50 pounds and carry materials
Ability to perform labor-intensive work often working in dirty conditions
Ability to work on-call on a rotational basis and respond to emergency situations after normal work hours
