Exciting Full-Time Family Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Live Oak, FL!
We are hiring a full‑time Family Nurse Practitioner to provide patient‑centered care in urgent care, primary care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. Candidates will lead a small team in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
Training and support include on‑site orientation, clinical mentorship, continuing education, and access to a dedicated on‑call nurse practitioner.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID‑19, and other upper respiratory issues
Perform minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
Suture, splint, and manage general orthopedic evaluations
Review x‑rays (to be over‑read by a radiologist)
Provide general dermatology, eye, and EKG interpretation services
Manage emergency situations and provide general GYN care
Treat children of all ages
Manage occupational medicine and telemedicine consults
Schedule
MainStreet Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Rotating schedule with every other weekend alternated. Sample schedule:
Week 1: Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON)
Week 2: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF)
Qualifications
Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
MSN or higher education required (new graduates welcomed)
DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification (cost covered)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred
