Key Responsibilities:
Apply a thorough seven-step cleaning process to ensure assigned areas meet high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and other designated spaces, including dusting, sanitizing, and waste removal.
Manage linen processing tasks such as sorting, drying, ironing, folding, packing, and distributing linens while maintaining inventory and quality assurance.
Inspect surgical linens for defects and perform necessary maintenance like mending or stamping.
Deliver supplies and medical records to satellite locations as needed.
Maintain assigned equipment and promptly report any repair needs.
Demonstrate excellent guest relations by showing courtesy, compassion, and respect in all interactions.
Adhere to legal, regulatory, and confidentiality standards to protect patients and staff.
Support teamwork by collaborating effectively with peers and supervisors, taking initiative to complete tasks, and assisting others to improve overall service quality.
Communicate professionally and respectfully, keeping the team informed and engaged.
Report safety concerns, incidents, and maintenance needs promptly.
Follow all relevant policies including infection control, emergency preparedness, and hazardous materials handling.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience in a related housekeeping or support services role is advantageous.
