Raleigh - Leader in Training
The Budd Group, Raleigh, NC, United States
Launch Your Leadership Journey
Location: Raleigh, NC | Program Duration: June 2026 May 2027
The Goal: To turn your degree into real-world leadership through immersive, 360-degree business training.
Why Join The Budd Group?
You didn't spend four years in a classroom just to sit behind a desk and file papers. At The Budd Group, we believe the best leaders are built from the ground up. Our Leader in Training (LIT) program is a prestigious, one-year "business boot camp" designed exclusively for recent college graduates who want to see every facet of how a multi-service industry leader operates.
The Experience: A Year of Total Immersion
This isn't your average entry-level job. You'll rotate through every heartbeat of our companyfrom the front lines to the executive suite.
Hands-On Foundations:
You'll start where the magic happens. You'll prune, paint, mow, and master janitorial services. You'll learn the grit it takes to do the job so that one day, you can lead the people who do it.
The Business Brain:
You'll dive into the "Big Three"HR (finding and coaching talent), Accounting (managing the bottom line), and Sales (winning new partnerships through prospecting and proposals).
Management Mastery:
By the end of the year, you'll be scheduling crews, auditing quality, and mastering retention strategies.
What We're Looking For
We don't just hire resumes; we hire character. To thrive in this program, you'll need:
The Degree:
You graduated within the last 12 months.
The Grit:
You are ready for a highly physical role. You're happy working outdoors in the sun or indoors getting a facility into tip-top shape.
The Flexibility:
Excellence doesn't always happen between 9 and 5. You're open to evenings and occasional weekends.
The Drive:
You want a career, not just a paycheck. You are safety-minded, customer-obsessed, and a natural communicator.
The Roadmap to Success
Each quarter, you'll have clear, measurable learning objectives tracked in our system. You won't be guessing if you're doing a good jobyou'll see your growth in real-time.
The Ultimate Prize:
Upon successful completion of the 12-month program in May, our goal is to transition you into a permanent management or specialty role within The Budd Group family.
