The Opportunity
Are you a strategic engineer who thrives in the Front-End of project delivery? We are seeking a high-caliber

Study Manager

to lead complex Pre-Feasibility (PFS) and Feasibility Studies (FS) for a global ECPM leader.

Based in our

Phoenix center of excellence , you will guide mining clients through the critical decision-making phases of project development. You will be responsible for defining the economic and technical viability of major assets, specializing in high-demand commodities including

Lithium, Copper, Gold, and Precious Metals .

Key Responsibilities
Technical Stewardship:

Lead the preparation and consolidation of

NI 43-101 technical reports

across all phases (PEA, PFS, and FS) utilizing industry best practices.

Strategic Consulting:

Work directly with Client executives and Boards of Directors to evaluate multiple scenarios and develop robust economic business cases.

Full-Cycle Study Management:

Own the study scope, deliverables, schedule, budget, and quality. Ensure the engineering effort is seamlessly coordinated across all multidisciplinary teams.

Risk & Change Management:

Proactively identify and mitigate technical and commercial risks while managing the change control process to protect project margins.

Proposal & Tender Support:

Participate in the preparation of study proposals, ensuring technical solutions are innovative, proprietary, and aligned with client requirements.

Team Leadership:

Foster a positive, high-performance atmosphere; manage resource deployment and oversee staff performance and discipline within the study team.

Professional Requirements
Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university.

Years of Experience:

10+ years within

ECPM, Mining Construction, or Operations .

Study Leadership:

At least 5 years of dedicated experience as a

Study Manager

on large-scale mining projects (Capex of

$300M+ ).

Commodity Expertise:

Specific knowledge and project history involving

Lithium, Copper, and Gold .

Project Life Cycle:

Comprehensive understanding of the transition from Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) through to Final Feasibility and execution planning.

Innovation:

Proven ability to develop proprietary and innovative solutions to optimize traditional mining processes.

Communication:

Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex engineering data into actionable insights for client stakeholders.
