Animal Medical Center of the Lowcountry in beautiful Beaufort, South Carolina, is seeking an experienced or licensed Veterinary Technician to join our surgical team. Job Overview

Role:

Experienced or Licensed Veterinary Technician

Status:

Full-time

Salary:

Negotiable and based on experience & licensure

Schedule:

5x8-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts. Weekends off!

Requirements:

Two years of experience as a Veterinary Technician

What You’ll Do

Safe and effective patient handling and restraint

Attentive induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients

Perioperative and surgical care - including IV catheter placement and intubation

Obtaining diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy, and sample collection, and performing in-house lab work

Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff

Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions

What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring

Two years of experience or a valid veterinary technician license
