Veterinary Practice Manager – Banfield Pet Hospital
Practice Managers play a pivotal role in our hospitals. Your medical practice management skills will be put to use to drive business results, and your people leadership skills will come into play as you develop associates and foster an engaging team environment. Together with the veterinary medical team and field leadership, you’ll ensure a positive experience for clients and patients while optimizing the growth of the business.

Job Summary
In partnership with the Chief of Staff, the Practice Manager manages day‑to‑day operations so the medical team can devote their time to delivering the highest quality veterinary care.

Employment Type
Full‑time

Required Education / Licenses
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities are also acceptable.

Required Experience
Three years of related experience – health care, veterinary, or service industry – with direct supervisory experience, including hiring and associate development.

Responsibilities

Educate associates on Banfield guidelines and practices.

Budget and plan for the hospital.

Manage daily operations.

Schedule associates, coordinate time off, and manage continuing education needs.

Interview, hire, and develop associates.

Evaluate hospital processes, progress, and productivity.

Train associates to educate clients about the Optimum Wellness Plans and preventive care.

Conduct conflict management and problem solving across the team.

Lead and analyze hospital performance and effectiveness.
