About the Role
Harford Endoscopy Center is seeking a
PRN Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)
to support safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care throughout the endoscopy process. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses seeking
flexible, as‑needed work
in a focused procedural environment.
What You’ll Do
Provide nursing care throughout the endoscopy process, from patient preparation through post‑procedure monitoring
Support patient care activities in the procedure room and collaborate with physicians and the care team
Verify patient identity and procedure using approved safety and time‑out protocols
Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies based on patient and procedure needs
Assist with safe patient positioning and continuous monitoring during procedures
Accurately document patient care and procedural details in accordance with policy
Handle, label, and log tissue specimens according to established procedures
Ensure instruments and supplies meet high‑level disinfection and sterilization standards
Support efficient room turnover and appropriate use of supplies
Provide patient education, comfort, and reassurance while maintaining privacy and dignity
Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
Active
Registered Nurse (RN)
license
Basic Life Support (BLS)
required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
required
Prior experience in
endoscopy, GI, procedural, surgical, or perioperative nursing
preferred
