Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a Certified Athletic Trainer based in Virginia, United States. The role involves implementing injury prevention programs, conducting ergonomic evaluations, and providing health and wellness coaching. The Certified Athletic Trainer will collaborate with employees and management to assess risks, deliver tailored training sessions, and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards. Continuous documentation, communication, and reporting will form a key part of the daily responsibilities.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and application of injury prevention, rehabilitation, and ergonomic evaluation methods
Experience in designing and delivering health and wellness programs and occupational training
Demonstrated ability to assess risks and provide recommendations to enhance workplace safety
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills to connect with a diverse workforce
Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and maintaining accurate records
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, or related field
Possession of relevant certification (e.g., Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer)
Familiarity with OSHA standards and workplace compliance is a plus
Ability to work on-site and adapt to a dynamic work environment
