Position
Occupational Health and Safety Specialist (Associate or Mid‑Level) – Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team, Boeing Commercial Airplanes division.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement and monitor occupational health and safety programs and processes
Provide training and instructions
Evaluate the impact of emerging issues, regulations and legislation on company operations
Develop corrective action plans to respond to internal/external audits and inspections
Plan and conduct health and safety audits
Oversee non‑product LOTTO, fall protection, crane systems, and transportation regulatory safety practices
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher
1+ year(s) experience performing occupational safety and/or industrial hygiene duties in an industrial environment
1+ year(s) experience in environmental health and safety (EHS)
1+ year(s) experience performing health and safety risk assessments, developing and managing safety programs, and conducting audits
Experience developing and implementing process improvements
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in a safety‑related field (industrial hygiene, occupational safety, toxicology, public health, etc.)
3+ years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
3+ years experience managing projects
Pay and Benefits
Total rewards package includes competitive base pay, variable compensation and benefits such as health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, paid and unpaid time off.
Summary pay range for Level 2: $88,400 – $119,600
Summary pay range for Level 3: $105,400 – $142,600
