Position Purpose
The Sanitation, Warehouse ensures the health and safety of all associates by maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
The Janitorial Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in the warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.
Responsibilities
Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
Performs cleaning duties as assigned including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
Completes all assigned Pure Safety training modules in a timely and accurate manner.
Operates a pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Work Hours and Availability
Must be able to work one of two shifts, Monday to Friday, 6 am–2 pm or 7 am–3 pm. Overtime and weekends may be required. No attendance issues are acceptable.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
At least 6 months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience.
Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.
