Description
The Midwifery Division in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine at Stony Brook Medicine is seeking a full‑time, highly motivated, certified midwife to provide equitable and inclusive patient‑centered care. The role includes practicing alongside a well‑established team of midwives who collaborate with a diverse health‑care team, and participating in research and educational opportunities.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Possession of or eligibility for NYS licensure.
ACNM/AMCB certification.
Master's degree (foreign equivalent or higher).
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of six months postgraduate full‑scope midwifery practice experience.
Special Notes
Non‑Tenure Track position. FLSA exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
Anticipated Start Date
As soon as possible.
