Job Description
The Cath Lab Technologist is responsible for producing optimal diagnostic images while delivering excellent patient care. The incumbent will provide radiology services to patients across various age groups, ensuring adherence to quality standards and protocols in the Diagnostic Interventional Department.
Responsibilities
Operate interventional imaging equipment and ensure patient safety during procedures.
Verify and execute physician's orders for diagnostic and therapeutic exams.
Perform as the first assist to physicians during procedures.
Prepare sterile trays and maintain room sterility.
Circulate, manipulate drains and lines, and assist with suturing.
Evaluate exam quality and make necessary corrections to improve image quality.
Consult with radiologists on contrast media applications or procedure variances.
Regulate patient flow and participate in quality improvement studies.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience.
Certification: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) R.T. (R) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS). State of Nevada Radiation Control Program License required.
Current AHA, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

Contract Details
Duration: 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 4x10, Rotating Shifts, Monday to Friday. Weekly guaranteed hours: 40. Call requirements: 1 night during the week and 1 weekend call shift every 5 weeks.
