Job Summary
MICDS is accepting applications for a Varsity Assistant Cheerleading Coach. Applicants must meet Missouri State High School Athletic Association requirements for position and Sports First Aid requirements. The ideal candidate will have prior coaching or playing experience, enthusiasm for leading student athletes, and strong athletic and personal references.
Responsibilities
Effectively supervise, design, and run practices.
Foster the growth of the student-athletes.
Model program values and reinforce them through modeling and teaching.
Travel as needed for contests.
Assist in an off-season program.
Work with the Head Cheerleading Coach to promote cheerleading on our campus, which may include summer camp opportunities.
Other Information
A criminal history and background check is required and must be successfully completed prior to employment.
This is a part-time position that is not benefits-eligible. However, the position can be combined with a full-time classroom teaching position in a subject area that coincides with current needs, in which case a competitive and extensive benefits package will be included.
