Executive Chef – Cocoa, FL
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 + Relocation Assistance
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead kitchen operations in Cocoa, FL. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, managing inventory, and leading a successful culinary team.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations
Prepare or direct meal production to company standards
Develop regular and modified menus
Ensure recipe, portion, and presentation compliance
Complete production and waste logs
Train staff on food prep, safety, sanitation, and equipment use
Manage cleaning and maintenance schedules
Control food and supply inventory within budget
Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and safety regulations
Participate in meetings and staff development programs
Qualifications
Associate degree or equivalent experience
3-5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
Hands‑on chef leadership required
High-volume foodservice experience preferred
Institutional, batch cooking, or catering experience a plus
Strong knowledge of food quality, cost controls, sanitation, and presentation
Computer skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook
ServSafe certification preferred
