Retail Mall Licensed Security Officers – FT, PT, and Flex
Marksman Security is hiring Licensed Security Officers for retail mall locations. This role involves engaging with the public and responding to calls for service in the public right‑of‑way.
$16.00 p/hr
Flex schedule availability is a must.
Shift Schedules
12 Noon - 8pm
4pm - 12 Midnight
Some schedules may turn into full‑time opportunities.
Job Requirements
Be able to conduct extended foot patrols of the mall area.
Use of mall security vehicle may be required.
This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods of time.
Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of areas in the public right‑of‑way to identify potential safety and security risks.
Maintain a visible presence and engage in professional public interactions.
Document all interactions in a clear and concise written report, ensuring the accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents).
Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking, and/or in possession of prohibited items.
Other duties to be determined by management.
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
Valid TX driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Valid Texas Level II Guard License.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Minimum of one year of security experience.
Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug).
You will be working with a team and supported by a leadership team that sets clear expectations and will help you to succeed and grow.
