The Department of Microbiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Research Associate position within the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one year, with continuation and renewal based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three years). Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree and expertise in mRNA biochemistry, mRNA production, immunology (evaluate vaccine‑induced cellular and humoral immune responses) and experience working with mice.
Responsibilities
Investigate novel adjuvants for mRNA vaccines in various mouse models.
Develop critical research skills, literature and experimental techniques, prepare manuscripts, and present findings at national and international meetings.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3-5 years of postdoctoral experience.
